Supporting  Veterans in Transition

Veterans Independent Enterprises of Washington

V.I.E.W. is a non-profit work opportunity center providing employment & support for Veterans in transition, Veterans with physical and/or developmental disabilities and Veterans who are economically disadvantaged.

For more than 25 years, the primary mission of V.I.E.W. has been focused on supporting the men and women who served in the United States Armed Forces.

We are governed by a Board of Directors comprised of community members who believe in the value of work during the rehabilitation / transition process.

Our focus is to assist Veterans in various stages of transition. This is done by offering employment that will increase vocational skills, housing to reduce homelessness and counseling aimed to increase mental and physical health. We also provide outreach and community opportunities to improve social skills. Our Veteran staff and team leaders have years of experience working with individuals having chemical dependency, alcohol and homelessness issues.

We understand that transition is a personal journey and make every effort to support Veterans with their personal goals until they reach a point of self-sufficiency.  We have extended the attitude of SERVICE to our Veterans as we learned in the military.

Located in Fife, Washington, V.I.E.W. is a short distance from JBLM and the VA Puget Sound Medical Center, Lakewood, WA.
